Welcome to our acctractive and open school environment with access to up-to-date it facilities. We can maintain this freedom of access to the equipment, because you as a student exhibit high degree of
responsibility, common sense and judgment when using the equipment.
The IT equipment has been acquired for educational purposes, and should therefore be used for
school-related purposes. As the equipment is used by many users daily, there will be certain rules
which ensures that the IT installation is always functioning, even for you. Notice that you are required

Be aware:
the IT equiptment
You may not change anything in the equiptments setup and you shall report errors noticed to it-service. You may NOT enjoy food or breweages nearby the IT equiptment or terminals.
Backup
You alone are responsible to ensure to backup of all your data (eg. To
USB pen, floppy or CD)
.
Use of network
The institution's computers are connected to other networks by different organizations and
institutions. So beware that the communication through our network with other networks are monitored - both by IT Service and external partners.
Do not connect your PC to our conventional network using cable, but ONLY by wireless network.
If you want your laptop connected to the institution's wireless network, you
make sure to have minimum Windows XP and MSOffice package installed.
You are held 100% responsible for what goes through your PC and via your network card.
Ressource use
The IT equipment is NOT intended for games, chat, music videos and other
non-school purposes. Recommendation to
stop such activity must be followed immediately.
Use of IT during Exam
As a starting point all written examination will be done on computers. There are separate
rules for electronic exams located on the school's intranet. You are obligated to familiarize yourself with these
rules before the exam.
IT-Service
IT Service has access to all user data and programs. We use
this right in the event of technical problems or suspected abuse.
This also applies to the content of your e-mail account at school
which is not private, but is intended for educational use. If you have
questions, you are always welcome to visit us.
Violation of rules
Violations of IT rules may result in temporary or permanent withdrawal of
the right to use the institution's IT facilities.
In severe cases, it leads to expulsion from the school and / or reported to the police
as well as claims for compensation.
